I’ve tried several brands of sheep’s wool and alpaca socks and have never found one that would lock in the heel of my Limmer Lightweights (I have very narrow heels), until now. These extra cushion socks are perfect for me, and the comfort level is outstanding, soft and effectively wicking away sweat on a brisk hike. I ordered the red pair, and they’re pretty! Totally warm when I fish in a float tube. You should advertise that they are great for using under waders whether stream fishing or float tubing.
These socks are really nice and thick. It kept me warm in snowy/rain conditions. It's so thick that when I first wore them and walked around the house, it felt like I was stepping on millions of tiny springs. Very comfy too. I highly recommend these.
Bought these in red, sharp looking. They are very nicely cushioned. Thicker than the Adventure sock , a warmer one, for a colder day or just lounging. Soft and very comfortable. I’ve determined that these Alpacas of Montana socks have become my favorite brand of socks.
