We offer 3 different colors of alpaca yarn free of dyes and chemicals for knitting, crocheting, weaving and gifts. Our alpaca fleece is spun locally at Thirteen Mile Farm, where the Charcoal, Mocha and Sand colors are all natural from our alpacas raised in Montana. Sheep's wool offers loft to alpaca fiber as well as ease of dying if desired. Each skein is 75% Alpaca, 25% Wool in 100 gram skeins. Two sizes are available:
Worsted Weight Yarn - Gauge 4, Needle Size 8, 215 Yards Bulky Weight Yarn - Gauge 3, Needle Size 10.5, 140 Yards
We also offer a finer, 100% alpaca yarn - Each skein is 124 yarns, 50 grams, Needle #6, Gauge 5.5, pure alpaca. Five colors are available in this style of yarn, including Cream, Medium Brown, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Black. Need to know how much yarn to get? Let our Yarn Estimator Chart help.
